In our commitment to foster creative thinking and innovation in our local schools, the Arts Council of Greater Weston proudly presents the 7th Annual Student Artist Showcase!
The 2013 Annual Student Artist Showcase runs throughout the month of April at the Weston Branch Library.
A reception was held for the artists, teachers and their families. Weston City Commissioners Thomas Kallman, Toby Feuer, and Angel Gomez were on hand to present awards.
Each year, every art teacher in Greater Weston’s public and private schools is asked to select up to 12 student artworks for exhibition at the Weston Branch Public Library. Every participant receives an award of participation and arts educators from the community are invited to select 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards in grade categories.
Below are just a few of the over 240 works of art on view! Visit the Weston Branch library to see the rest of this exciting exhibition!
